MUJID left all rivals in his wake on penultimate start when home with 15 in hand at Ffos Las. He couldn’t back it up in the soft at Goodwood since but now returning to much better ground he could reproduce the effort. AT LIBERTY has been threatening a win for a while now and his latest neck 2nd at Redcar suggests he’ll be right there at the finish.

Race 2 – Leicester Racecourse
HIGHBANK made quite the impression when scoring with 3+ in hand on debut at Newmarket back in July. He backed it up well enough when 2nd at Newbury when upped in trip and grade last month. A return to this trip with sights lowered combined with the booking of William Buick could see him 2 from 3. CARAGIO made a pleasing start when 2nd by a neck at Newbury over this trip. He should be much wiser for the outing and could challenge.

HAWKES BAY has been tried in some fairly tough novice events and strikes as the sort with untapped potential. This is a winnable contest on paper and the addition of cheekpieces could see him a valuable option. CAMACHO STAR is the pick on form having found the frame the last twice. That said, they came over the AW so he’ll have to prove he can being the standard to turf where he has shown very little.

Race 4 – Leicester Racecourse
BEAUTIFUL AISLING found the soft ground a bit too much for her when 3rd on hat trick bid at Goodwood. She’s entitled to bounce right back to winning ways now over much firmer ground. UNION COURT is respected off a 90 rating and is certainly a player after a good 5th in a much stronger race at Newmarket at the start of the month.

TO THE BAR has finished last in his last couple of starts but they came in much higher grades. Now under a new yard he can put his 84 rating to work in much calmer waters, with a tongue-tie also tried. GORDONSTOUN could find rejuvenation in a first-time visor and is trip suited.

Race 6 – Leicester Racecourse
AUDIENCE was somewhat disappointing being beaten into 3rd when sent off favourite at Nottingham in August. He has been gelded since and tries a hood, so is worth giving another shot for the in-form Gosdens. SHINING BLUE won his first 3 under rules in good style but hasn’t been able to capitalise in higher grades since. Now eased in task he could retrace the winning thread over his debut winning C&D.

Race 7 – Leicester Racecourse
BLING ON THE MUSIC makes significant appeal having undergone gelding and wind surgeries since his 7th at Ascot. His 2nd by a neck over the mile at Windsor reads well and he can land a deserved maiden win here. LADY EROS kicked things off with a good 2nd at Newbury before going one better at Wolverhampton. She hasn’t been seen since May but could be wound up nicely for the job by her handlers.
