LEGENDARY RHYTHM has unlocked strong improvement for a recent wind operation, landing 3rd over 2m here last month. A return to a longer trip combined with that effort should see her open her account. ASTRA VIA is coming off a good 2nd at Sedgefield and is also likely to benefit from a return to a longer trip.

OSCARS LEADER did excellent late work to edge out a success by a neck at Newcastle over slightly further 3 days ago. A rapid turnabout under a 7lb penalty can see him strike while the iron is hot. FILLIE ILCO is better than what we saw at Ffos Las latest and is expected to recover somewhat in this 3 horse field.

Race 4 – Leicester Racecourse
FOR FITZ SAKE was nothing special over timber but when upped in trip and sent off over fences made a lasting impression in 3rd. With that under his belt and a 4lb lower mark he can go very well indeed. DAWN RAIDER had been sliding down the ratings before tearing it up with 7 in hand at Carlisle latest. He is under 7lb penalty but could still be within striking range.

MARRACUDJA is a fairly useful chaser who won a handicap off this mark back in October. Last seen a length 3rd in a similar event at Hereford off 1lb higher he should benefit from this longer trip and gets the nod for Dan Skelton. PURE VISION made a winning return from 447 days off when firing up late at Ffos Las. He should be in good spirits and is quite capable of pressing further in just his 2nd outing in 3 years.

SIXTEEN LETTERS makes first start under rules for new connections after some very promising efforts in the point-to-points. He obviously remains a maiden but looks primed to go very well here. BARRACK HILL is interesting back from just under 12 months off. Last seen 3rd in first-time cheekpieces on chase/yard/rules bow for the Barlow team he could have more to come if the absence is no issue.
