WODETON caught the eye when runner up on debut at Sandown recently. He can go one better with that under his belt. STORM CASTLE gets a mention on debut being the firstborn of G1 winner Journey and should be well-readied by the Gosdens.

RIBHI was a close-run 5th in the Flying Scotsman despite a few issues mid-run. He’s back where he struck on debut and can get right back on the scoreboard. TOLSTOY lost nothing in 7th in the July Stakes at Newmarket and is now a new gelding so could have plenty to offer at this level.

MAJESTIC DAWN was a very solid 3rd in the G3 Rose of Lancaster at Haydock and is now dropped into calmer waters off a very exploitable mark of 104 with his rider taking a further 7lb off. REBEL TERRITORY is the danger off the back of his Glorious Goodwood win back in July and can weather the 6lb hike.

FRONTISPIECE slid down the ratings and finally pounced off 77 at Newbury. He’s back up to 81 but now he’s retraced the winning thread could have more to come. WHITEHAVEN could have a say if conditions remain on the soft side and shouldn’t be too dusty after 55 days off.
