Race 3 – Salisbury Racecourse
BANANA has shown aptitude in some hotly contested events this season and her best yet was her comeback 3rd at Chester last month. She looks well-treated off a mark of 82 and should be a major contender. ROSA MYSTICA was toppled by half a length at Wolverhampton and has valid compensation claims off an unchanged mark.

CAPLA DREAM won on yard bow for the Tuite team and the 4lb rise is conveniently nullified by Rhys Clutterbuck’s 5lb claim. The switch to turf has paid off and he has a lot more likely to come. PINBALL WIZARD made all to land the goods at Kempton last time and is the standard bearer for Clive Cox who took this out in 2019. That said, the 6lb rise is going to be felt.

BERKSHIRE ROCCO can rest on the laurels of his St Leger neck 2nd in 2020 and won his sole appearance since at Listed level. He was last seen 2nd in Doha in February and fitness must be taken on trust but this Andrew Balding colt is a class act through and through. QUICKTHORN could pick up the pieces if the selection needs the run, he has 2 wins under his belt this season and was last seen toppled into 2nd by a head at York in a competitive event so should be fighting fit.

EIKONIX was an impressive 2nd on debut before going one better effortlessly at Wolverhampton despite some early hampering. Now given a longer run he should find enough to keep the streak alive for the red-hot Andrew Balding string. SAYF AL DAWLA is respected going up in trip on return to turf and could find plenty.
