Race 1 – Ayr Racecourse
SOFT RISK was a dominant winner on debut in the bumpers over C&D here back in May. Now making comeback run and tackling timber for the first time he looks the one they all have to beat if he brings the standard across. MUHTAMAR was a much-improved runner up over track and trip last time out and must be respected.
Top Tip – SOFT RISK (8)
One to consider – MUHTAMAR (6)

BE THE DIFFERENCE was beaten favourite when 2nd by a length after being hampered by a reopposing rival at Wetherby and could make up for it here. FLEXI FURLOUGH was the impediment to the selection latest and found 3rd that day. She has placed the last thrice and could prove an obstacle once more.
Top Tip – BE THE DIFFERENCE (10)
One to consider – FLEXI FURLOUGH (1)
Race 3 – Ayr Racecourse
BILL BAXTER found one too good on hurdle bow at Ffos Las and he can go one better here. A respectable 4th at Listed level in the bumpers in February he can rest on those laurels somewhat. OKAVANGO DELTA was another who struck the crossbar on hurdle bow and should be in the mix once more.
Top Tip – BILL BAXTER (1)
One to consider – OKAVANGO DELTA (8)

Race 4 – Ayr Racecourse
SARVI was a strong runner up at Musselburgh in a decent field at the end of October. Off the same mark she could go one better as she finds form. TOPKAPI STAR can’t be ruled out after firing up well to find 2nd when last spotted over hurdles. A couple of flat runs since suggest she should be fighting fit.
Top Tip – SARVI (10)
One to consider – TOPKAPI STAR (11)
Race 5 – Ayr Racecourse
ANIMORE has found the frame in 3 of her last 4 chase outings including a Hexham win over a similar trip. She’s up 1lb for her latest ½ length 2nd over C&D and should be hard to keep out of the finish. AFRICAN DANCE looks good for a big effort now tackling fences for Olly Murphy and the 121 mark is very workable over an ideal trip.
Top Tip – ANIMORE (6)
One to consider – AFRICAN DANCE (1)

Race 6 – Ayr Racecourse
GLITTERING LOVE came back from 191 days off to find a solid enough 6th at Carlisle over hurdles. Now back over fences where he is at his best, he can make for a 4th C&D win. FINAWN BRAWN won his bumper debut here back in 2018 and has been a useful hurdler in a handful of appearances. A respectable 3rd on chase bow he turns to handicapping and the 128 mark looks very good. The 749 day absence is a slight concern but he still looks a serious operator for Olly Murphy.
Top Tip – GLITTERING LOVE (6)
One to consider – FINAWN BAWN (4)
Race 7 – Ayr Racecourse
CARNFUNNOCK kicked things off with a very pleasing 3rd in a Punchestown bumper back in April. A similar effort today should see him a difficult one to account for. GEORDIES DREAM won at the first time of asking at Kelso back in March after showing ample staying ability. He concedes weight all round but could build nicely on such an impressive effort.
Top Tip – CARNFUNNOCK (4)
One to consider – GEORDIES DREAM (1)
