SAUCE OF LIFE won both his bouts in the bumpers and has an exciting hat trick prospect now going hurdling. GENTLEMAN DE MAI was 2nd to a strong rival between the flags and is fancied to make a splash on rules debut.

ANIMORE is showing strong improvement for the shift to chasing, landing in the frame twice before opening the account convincingly on 3rd attempt. He is up 5lb for that effort but looks capable of weathering it and improving further. BOLLINGERANDKRUG has won 2 of his last 3 hurdle runs and makes fair appeal now trying the chase ranks.

I’M ON SNAP finished strongly in 4th at Hereford latest and has a 1lb drop in her favour. She probably also needed the run so we could see a big step forward today. PERMISSION GRANTED showed signs of improvement in 3rd at Perth on 2nd start since wind surgery and could find a way into the equation.

GREY ATLANTIC WAY is up 8lb for a dominant win on return to fences after being fitted with the tongue-tie and cheekpieces combination. A similar effort is likely and he has plenty of scope in these ranks. EAGLE RIDGE is worth considering on his best form last season and this 10 year old still has plenty of ability.

FLOOD DEFENCE should be in top shape for a win bid after some flat spins of late. Last seen 2nd by a neck in this sphere she’s up 4lb but should be able to make a convincing attempt at compensation. GET PHAR is interesting making UK/yard debut after some solid placed efforts in these ranks across the Irish Sea.
