SPIRIT OF DACHA really improved after a 160 day spell when 3rd at Scottsville before going up to 6f here on the turf to find 2nd from a lousy draw. She is fancied to sharpen even further on return to the AW. FATEFUL MISTRESS is a 21 time maiden but her recent form has seen her come close enough to have solid claims here.

Race 2 – Greyville Racecourse
MISS LIALAH could not make an impact on the race over C&D latest when sent from barrier 12. Now out of barrier 4 she should come very close and can make her bid. CASHEW tried to make all but was run down late when upped in trip on Polytrack debut. Coming back down to 7f she should be right amongst it once more.

Race 3 – Greyville Racecourse
SYMMETRY is fresh off her maiden and comes down in trip now making poly/handicap debut. Her race didn’t take a lot of winning but it could springboard her here if she takes to the surface from the best of the draws. BOOGIE SHOES is better than the last 8th we saw from a shocking draw. Her penultimate 8f 2nd here is a better indication and she should bounce back from a better gate.

Race 4 – Greyville Racecourse
ROCK COAST was last seen a very respectable 4th against some sharp youngsters here and returns to the Poly which can see him put that form hard to work. SMART WILLIAM has been holding form well of late since being fitted with blinkers after joining Peter Muscutt. He has 2 wins and 4 places from 7 runs here and should be involved in the finish.

THE APPEAL was unlucky to unseat his rider latest and had been coming to the boil nicely here. He goes back up to 10f and is entitled to make amends. ANCIENT STATE came fairly close when 5th over C&D on first attempt at this trip. He has pole positon here and could step forward further.

SCENT OF A WOMAN won her maiden well over C&D latest but this is a tougher task. She’s plenty capable with ample scope for improvement so should be up to the challenge. THREE HEARTS had 3 in hand when home over this trip on the turf here. She is well-drawn and could follow up on her own handicap bow if taking to the new surface.

FIVES WILD is tri suited and was last seen a surprise 3rd at 66/1 odds here over 5f. Back up in trip eyes are on him to prove it was no fluke after landing within half a length of the spoils. KNIGHT WARRIOR showed improvement in blinkers last time over C&D when a close up 5th. He should be on the premises with a similar effort.

WE ALL CHOMIES has been posting solid efforts in defeat since joining Kumaran Naidoo. His latest effort is not indicative of his potential and should be looked past. He has a solid draw and could get home this time. LIFE GOES ON was a nice 10/1 winner at Turffontein on penultimate outing before a length and a half 4th over C&D. He likes the Polytrack and should continue to improve over it.
