COLINTON took a while to get going but has been incredible since winning his maiden in July here. He has won 4 of 5 starts and lines up for a nice hat trick on 3rd outing since joining Katie Scott. OLYMPUS returns from a single filed effort over timber to make first outing for new connections. He was a decent performer in the handicaps last year and could recapture that standard.

PURPLE POWER has been narrowly denied into 2nd the last twice since joining George Boughey. A 1lb hike and the services of Ben Curtis could see her compensated over a shorter trip. TAHONTA found the drop to 6f hugely beneficial when 2nd by a head over C&D late last month.

GLORIOUS CHARMER got the job done by a head over C&D on penultimate start and wasn’t disgraced when a ¼ length 2nd at Newcastle a week ago. He can bounce right back in a very winnable event. YOU’RE COOL won over 5f here back in January and wasn’t disgraced on follow up when a length 4th off 3lb higher. He’s proven over this trip as well and could recapture the winning feeling.

Race 4 – Wolverhampton Racecourse
KING OF JUNGLE justified a short price when home by ¾ of a length ahead of an odds-on favourite over this trip at Kempton last month. Another similar effort for Ed Walker can see him remain unbeaten. CLASE AZUL ULTRA was nothing special in 7th on debut but clearly learned a lot. He returned to Kempton, dropped to 7f and won well. He could prove even more effective dropped another furlong.

LOOSE LIPS was touched off by a neck in the dying moments over 7f at Newcastle a week ago. That rival is in top shape and he’s fancied to gain due compensation here for Keith Dalgleish now dropped in trip. BANG ON THE BELL has been threatening a win of late and looks capable of building on some solid trip form at Southwell.

MIZMAR has proven highly progressive for the Gosdens and after a good 2nd over the mile at Lingfield could go one better now afforded another rise in trip. ZAIN SARINDA is respected off the back of a maiden win over C&D but will do well to concede weight all round.

AEGIS POWER gets the nod for the in-form Andrew Balding. Heh hasn’t been seen in 142 days but is likely to be ready for the task and can build on 3 straight placings back in 2021. GOVERNMENT is the danger off the back of a nice win over the mile at Southwell in a first-time visor. It is retained as he heads up in trip for Hugo Palmer with Cieren Fallon retaining the ride.
