IMPOSING was most unfortunate to be denied by a short head on debut over 5f here. He wasn’t disgraced in 6th since, holding his own against a better line-up than this. Well-drawn and with those runs to work from we could see 3rd time lucky. UNITED PRINCE has found the podium in both runs to date and is capable of offering a stiff resistance.

Race 2 – Scottsville Racecourse
SHESAKINDA MAGIC is forgiven a misfire latest when beating just one home. Her prior form is much stronger and now dropped back to 6f we might see her able to shed the maiden tag on attempt 10. WINTER MELODY found the cut in the ground a big much when 8th here in February. All her prior efforts at Greyville saw her place so she’s likely to sharpen up here in much better going.

BELL STARBUSTER took a small step backward when 7th on the AW here in late May. She was consistently landing in the money prior to that and could recover now back on turf. LUROX wasn’t much in 11th on debut but clearly learned some lessons, coming back to land 4th at 40/1 odds. She’s capable of finding the frame with normal improvement.

Race 4 – Scottsville Racecourse
CAPTAIN WHO hasn’t been disgraced in both runs since reopening the account over C&D. A return here can see him bounce back nicely from pole position. FULL BLAST has been hunting for his first win since January 2021 and might have a bit more to do but has been doing enough to warrant place consideration.

FINAL DESTINY is back to his winning trip after a short rest and could do enough to score with the best of the draws to work from. CAVALIERI showed his best in quite some time when a neck 2nd in the soft here in April. Out of gate 2 he might be able to put forth a strong enough win bid.

Race 6 – Scottsville Racecourse
MANDALA EFFECT couldn’t; back up his maiden win when only beating one home on the AW at Greyville. He was poorly drawn and might be able to make amends here out of gate 1 but there’s also a fair chance he’s not suited for turf. CAPE EAGLE is fair alternative if you don’t want to risk the selection, having not been disgraced on both surfaces since his maiden in September.

Race 7 – Scottsville Racecourse
BLAZE OF SILK is a local specialist with 5 C&D wins to work from. While not the most consistent sort going, he demands respect and is nicely drawn for a renewed offensive. PRINCEKRESH has misfired the last twice on the AW but he’s very well proven on turf so could make quite the splash on return.

Race 8 – Scottsville Racecourse
RAIN OR SHINE kicked things off with a 3rd before going on to score in both subsequent outings. All of those efforts have come over the AW but he’s worth chancing on turf in good going. SPIRIT OF MY FATE has been consistent, finding the frame in all 6 runs since being fitted with blinkers and should be in the mix.

ROTUNDA is respected coming back to the turf but all her best form has come on the AW. Still, she’s done a couple of useful things on turf and is worth chancing in this field. LADY SERENA is in top form of late, not disgraced when 3rd on double bid over 7f here. She’s capable of finding compensation on return to the mile.

MASTER TOBE deserves to win more than he does and does have a decent chance here out gate 4. His sole C&D attempt back in February 2020 saw him beaten ¾ of a length when 3rd. GREY LINNGARI is coming off a maiden win on attempt 34 on the AW at Greyville. He has posted manty placed efforts on turf and can bring some minor money home or possibly even challenge.
