He can certainly contest the finish here with the extra furlong possibly sparking plenty.

SPIDER MURPHY found an improver too good when ½ a length 2nd on debut over 7f at Leicester. With that under his belt and seemingly no rivals of that calibre he can go one better here. DIAMOND DREAMER is the newcomer of note with an impressive bloodline for the mighty Andrew Balding team. Watch the money for a gauge here.

BRESSON looks very hard to beat having landed in the money in his first 3 before scoring with an impressive 4 in hand at Yarmouth back in August, earning him a 90 rating. He looks very hard to oppose under penalty as cheekpieces are fitted. REMARQUEE is worth watching on debut, unlikely to land a blow on the selection she can still bring home some money for Ralph Beckett.

SECRET SOLACE did plenty right when 3rd at Newbury on debut at 50/1 odds. With the experience to raw from she’s capable of bridging the gap and attracting much stronger market support. GREEK ORDER is the pick of the newcomers, full brother to some very capable types. Ryan Moore taking the ride adds to his appeal.

WALLOP showed ample promise when 3rd on debut at Newmarket, with connections upping him to G2 level on return. He was far from disgraced in 5th there and can shed the maiden tag on 3rd attempt now eased markedly in task. BOLT ACTION demands respect as a debut winner who has found the frame in 5 of 6 starts to date and would not be winning out of turn.

WOWZERS has been knocking at the door and now dropped in grade he’s capable of getting a 2nd success to his name for Clive Cox. KING OF THE JUNGLE has posted mixed results of late but generally puts forth an honest effort. Not far beaten the last twice over 7f a drop back could foster the required effort to return to the scoreboard.

EDUCATOR looks exciting on comeback/hat trick run for Willie Haggas. He won his latest start by a nose at Newmarket when returned from 199 days off. He hasn’t been seen for 170 days since so it seems fair to assume the absence won’t be an issue in this 4 horse field. OKEECHOBEE is a big danger if able to bring his AW form across to turf. He has a hat trick on the line and might prove unfortunate to line up against the selection on his first attempt away from AW.

SONGO looks good here coming down in grade following a lacklustre 9th in a valuable Doncaster handicap. He has won three times in 6 starts this year and is quite capable of bouncing back to his best. LA PULGA looks the immediate danger as he heads up in trip following a good 3rd over 12f at Newbury. Blinkers seem to be aiding his cause slowly but surely and Ryan Moore taking the ride catches the eye.
