ONCE MORE FOR LUCK sharpened markedly on a mediocre debut when scoring by a head over this trip at Ffos Las on 2nd start. Since seen 7th in the Super Sprint, where he was far from disgraced, he can put the experience to good use in calmer waters. DARK KESTREL is worth a look on rules debut, sporting some useful names in the family tree.

GLAMOROUS BREEZE has been in a strong pocket of form of late, notching a trip win at Chepstow and a spattering of placed efforts. She’s in a similar spot to the selection, having won 2 of her last 4. She won’t lie down and is pleasingly reunited with Hollie Doyle.

GREG THE GREAT has won 3 of his last 4 and looks likely to continue his rich vein of form on hat trick bid, with a 4lb hike being very manageable at this stage. LEUVEN POWER is forgiven a misfire when beating just one home in a small field at Newmarket latest. He’s capable of further improvement, especially now tackling the mile for the first time.

CLIMATE makes large appeal on first run since joining the Gosdens. ROSE OF KILDARE has struck the crossbar the last twice at this level over 12f at Newmarket. She’s a big danger and can throw down the gauntlet.
