HELLO DEIRA made a very strong impression when a head 2nd over C&D on debut at the end of July. With that under his belt and James Doyle taking over he can go one better. GO SENATOR GO weakened late when 3rd over 7f at Newmarket and has a fair shot at compensation now eased in trip.

POLLY POTT has a nice hat trick in the crosshairs and is up just 2lb for her narrow but convincing success on nursery bow at Nottingham. David Probert returns and the pair look tough to beat. LADY LAVINA is under a 6lb penalty for a neck success from the front at Kempton latest. Cheekpieces seemed to aid her cause and are retained today.

FLYING HONOURS showed enough to work with in 4th on debut, despite being beaten short-priced favourite. He backed it up impressively when victorious with 9+ in hand at Sandown in late July. Now upped to Listed level he looks set to remain competitive with James Doyle back in the plate.

STUBBLE FIELD showed a step in the right direction when 3rd at Newmarket when upped to this trip. First-time cheekpieces could help her sharpen enough to get a deserved maiden win. LIANGEL HOPE is gunning for a hat trick after a narrow 7f win at Haydock on first run under the Mason banner. He’s up 3lb which may well see him vulnerable enough to the selection’s bid.

NOVA LEGEND found the required improvement for an open account when scoring with 4+ in hand at Ffos Las when fitted with first-time blinkers. He can back it up nicely here, with this rider taking a handy 3lb off. WILDERNESS returned from a national hunt campaign to score readily over C&D last month. A versatile sort, she heads the list of dangers off 4lb higher.
