DUAL IDENTITY has been in excellent form all year, with form lines of 2122. A further 1lb hike for his latest effort is no worry and he’s expected to relish the return to the mile. CLEAR ANGEL is coming off a fair turf win at Wetherby and is capable of bringing the form across to turf off 6lb higher.

FERNANDO RAH gets the vote on comeback after a 151 day break. He’s trip suited and had been doing all his best on this surface for Clive Cox. COPPER KNIGHT won this way back in 2018 and is still a competitive sort at 8 years old. Last seen an impressive winner at Chester, he’s capable of plenty more following a 6lb rise.

ROGUE MILLENIUM won her first 2 runs in style, including at Listed level at Lingfield in May. She was far from disgraced in 7th in the Derby 3 weeks ago. POTAPOVA is of fair appeal heading up in trip following back to back 2nds including at this level at Epsom in the Princess Elizabeth.

INDEMNIFY showed plenty to like in 4th on debut and built on it nicely when 2nd at Doncaster latest. A drop in trip now headed over Tapeta might be enough to make it 3rd time lucky for Roger Varian’s colt. DELOREAN has found the frame in both runs to date and looks the sort to have much more to come.

BY YOUR SIDE has won his last couple comfortably and has a nice hat trick to shoot for off just 2lb higher. Both wins came over turf but he looks the sort who could bring the standard back across, especially with Tom Marquand taking the ride. CROCODILE POWER didn’t land a blow in 9th on hat trick bid when sent back over turf at Catterick. He’s capable of an immediate recovery here and is feared the most.
