KAASIB went down into 2nd by a neck on debut at Windsor but got compensation 16 days later at Salisbury. With those runs under his belt he looks hard to beat despite giving 6lb to rivals. MISCHIEF MAGIC gets a nod on debut for the mighty Charlie Appleby with William Buick in the irons. He may well be able to give the selection plenty to think about.

Race 2 – Goodwood Racecourse
LAWUL COMMAND lost an early lead but clawed back to success by a neck over C&D latest. That was his comeback run and despite being 3lb worse off here he’s capable of going much better, especially if he can get the lead again. WODETON was the runner up that day over track and trip. He struck the crossbar in his prior outing as well. This time he’s paired with Harry Davies and his 7lb instead of David Probert.

SEA SILK ROAD was an impressive 5+ length winner in a Nottingham maiden a fortnight ago. This is a big up in task but she’s clearly talented and represents top connections. EMOTION won with a remarkable 16 in hand at Kempton over 12f latest. She’s a big danger if she can replicate that effort now paired with Frankie Dettori.

Race 4 – Goodwood Racecourse
MONTASSIB is unbeaten in 2 outings and looks primed for the coveted hat trick as he heads into handicap company. Willie Haggas’ charge is fairly treated off an 87 mark and should be hard to beat. THE ATTORNEY was in top shape for most of 2021 and if he’s at all able to pick up where he left off he’s going to be a danger.

NATURAL WORLD won on debut over this trip before a decent 3rd of 4 in a Derby trial at Lingfield. He’s paired with William Buick this time and can go well if he doesn’t mind a bit of cut in the ground. ALDOUS HUXLEY was a dominant 6+ length winner on debut before going a bit too hard at Newmarket latest. He managed to recover well into 2nd and is an obvious player here.

Race 6 – Goodwood Racecourse
CRYSTAL ESTRELLA made improvement on comeback run when 4th at Sandown over this trip. She’s going to be sharper for the run and was behind a well-regarded sort there. BALLET BLANC caught the eye when beaten into 3rd by ¾ of a length on debut at Lingfield. The drop in trip might aid her compensation claim.

SARATOGA GOLD made a strong return to the track when home with 2+ in hand over 14f here latest. The extra furlongs can see him double up off a 5lb higher perch. GOSHEN is a very useful hurdler who makes return to the flat for the first time in 586 days. He had plenty of success in his brief flat career and could add to it here for Gary Moore.
