STRANGER DANGER is yet to run a bad race, pulls up well fresh and loves it here. He looks hard to beat here, especially if he can dictate the pace. INHERIT THE RAIN has continued to improve since joining Alan Greeff, he has a nice hat trick on the line and could offer some very stiff resistance.

PARIS RIX wasn’t disgraced when 4 lengths back in 8th at Kenilworth latest in a much stronger field. These calmer waters could see him make a winning AW debut for Justin Snaith. NO LAYING UP wasn’t terribly impressive in 5th on yard and AW debut for the Laing team. He may prefer turf but he is unexposed and it is worth determining that with more evidence.

CANE LIME ‘N SODA looks primed for a big run on yard bow for Gavin Smith. He has shown enough on this surface to suggest he can carve out plenty of future success. BOLD STRIKE has placed 4 times in 6 attempts over this surface. Last seen 2nd over a furlong shorter, he should be able to continue his progression for Gavin Smith.

MACH FOUR has shown plenty to like on this surface at Greyville and could take the next step forward on local and yard bow for the Laing operation. EL ROMIACHI is in top shape, winning his last 3 by ever-increasing margins. There is the worry the wrath of the assessor may be felt here.

FRANCA won with style on local/yard debut for Alan Greeff, albeit in a weaker field. With that under her belt and a decent draw we could see her double down on a surface she is unbeaten on. LOLLAPALOOZA failed to fire when beating just one home over 7f here latest. We can ignore that effort as all prior form here is very promising.

BALTIC BEAT went down over 8f here by ½ a length back in October. Back from a short rest we could see Gavin Smith’s colt gain some nice compensation. DOGLIOTTI has been a bit out of form of late but still not too far beaten. We could see him snap out of it at any point.
