Race 2 – Exeter Racecourse
DUSART won over timber on debut and backed it up with a very solid 3rd at G1 level in his 2nd outing. Nicky Henderson’s 7 year old made a winning shift to chasing when home with 5 in hand at Leicester last month. He can topple this small field with another up in trip likely to suit. PATS FANCY has proven highly progressive in these ranks, winning his last couple including latest by 11 lengths. The runner up has franked the form since and he could notch the hat trick.

FLYING SARA was a very useful operator in the bumpers, winning her first couple with authority before posting respectable efforts in defeat when upped to Listed level. Now making hurdle bow she could go very well for Jack Barber. MIDNIGHT CALLISTO can offer the most resistance having found the frame the last twice over hurdles.

FINEST VIEW won a bumper on rules debut before finding G2 and Listed levels too much to handle. The experience has proven useful as she was a pleasing 2nd on hurdle bow despite being beaten favourite. She should sharpen up for the experience and can go one better for Alan King. CREDO could get it done having found 3rd in all 3 outings over timber. Back from wind surgery she could prove ready to take the final step toward a score in this sphere.

JOBESGREEN LAD is the one to beat having won his last couple by increasing margins. The latest 9lb hike will be felt but he should still take some stopping. CARRY ON THE MAGIC showed plenty to like when 2nd on chase debut at Musselburgh and should sharpen further now running with experience.

BALLYBLACK is a winner between the flags who made a good start to life under rules when 2nd at 28/1 at Taunton at the end of December. Now racing with that under his belt and going up in trip he can go one better for the effort. THELASTHIGHKING was 2nd to a clever rival at Fontwell latest in a much-improved effort. He should be on the radar here for the Twiston-Davies team.

BEAN IN TROUBLE is in top form of late, landing in the money the last 5 times, including a win over the mile at Wetherby. His latest 2nd took a nice shot in the arm when the 4th went on to win. RADDON TOP is worth a look having won well here in the heavy going, any cut in the ground is going to aid his cause.
