SWINCOMBE FLEAT ran prominently on hurdle bow before weakening toward the final couple of furlongs. With that under her belt as she comes down in trip she can strike. LASSUE is a winner between the flags and was a promising 4th on rules debut in the bumpers. Now shifting to timber she can continue to mature.

Race 2 – Exeter Racecourse
LAC DE CONSTANCE has shown promise in a couple of bumpers despite some weakening. Now having had a wind operation we could see a big improvement from Dan Skelton’s charge. BOLD CONDUCT changed hands after winning between the flag before a somewhat underwhelming hurdle bow. A shortened trip might see something of a recovery.

Race 3 – Exeter Racecourse
BIRDS OF PREY is back from 645 days off to shoot for a cross-code hat trick. Having won well on the flat the last twice he is also an effective hurdler and if wound up properly could prove far too good. GUERNSEY has found the frame in 3 post-maiden outings and could step forward before a scheduled 3lb hike.

Race 4 – Exeter Racecourse
ST ERNEY does some of his best work over C&D and was last seen 2nd on double bid, denied by ¾ of a length after a 5lb hike. A further 5lb hike will make things tougher but he’s such a class act he can overcome it. FAUSTINOVICK is worth a look on return from 269 days off and wind surgery. He has struck the crossbar the last 5 times in this sphere and could be a valuable place bet.

Race 5 – Exeter Racecourse
MASKADA has found the frame the last twice and both results have taken hearty boosts. Most notably, the 1st, 3rd, and 5th from her Listed 2nd at Bangor-on-Dee have all gone on to score since. Conditions are tipped to sit and she can get on top here. PURE BLISS only made 4 outings over timber last season but won 3 of them. Now making chase bow she could have even more on the horizon.

GETAWAY LUCY went down by a short head at Ffos las latest and the form has been franked by 3rd going on to win since. She can put that run to good use here. TIP TOP MOUNTAIN got home at Uttoxeter latest and could have more to come off a 4lb higher perch.

WORLD TRIP couldn’t land a blow on comeback run at Market Rasen but now the cobwebs are gone we could see a similar effort to her Perth form. FLOW WITH EVE is up a hefty 7lb for a decent Worcester score back in July but could have more on 2nd star for Ben Lund.
