MISSCALL makes most appeal now making handicap bow off a mark of 69. She’s shown us promise in 4 novice/maiden runs over turf and should be able to take another step forward here. SWEET GLANCE needed the outing when beating just one home on comeback at Chelmsford latest. Her maiden win was solid and she’s expected to come good here.

HOOKED ON YOU failed to land a single blow on double bid when sent off at short odds at Pontefract. We can forgive that and give her another shot off 1lb lower here. HELVETIQUE has yet to run a bad race and is an exciting prospect on her first run as a 3 year old.

KALAMITY KITTY is lining up for a superb 4 streak after a series of dominant scores. She’s upped in trip and that may be key to staying ahead of the assessor after another 6lb rise. YAGOOD posted a superb C&D victory back in July and has found the frame in 5 of 6 outings since. He’s capable of having his consistency rewarded with more money here.

PHANTASY MAX is fresh off a nice hat trick and looks capable of extending the unbeaten streak here. Over and ideal C&D she can outrun the 5lb hike for George Boughey and William Buick. YUMMYLICIOUS was denied by a head when well-backed at Beverley latest and is highly likely to be gunning for due compensation for the Gosdens.

ATHEBY has come agonisingly close to scoring a few times and this sort of event looks a good place to shed the maiden tag now a gelding and sporting cheekpieces for Jane Chapple-Hyam. FOURSOME is worth a look on debut for the in-form Willie Haggas team. She’s got Tom Marquand in the irons and is immaculately bred.

PINK CARNATION showed decent staying ability in 3rd at Thirsk latest and should be suited by the up to the mile here. She represents the in-form Archie Watson string and could make it 3rd time lucky. THREE DIAMONDS caught the eye in 5th at Newcastle on debut back in September and could have plenty more to come here.

CANTERBURY BELL wasn’t much in her first couple before edging a short head victory at Newmarket to cap off 2021. Now back with that to work from, she’s likely to have more ahead as a 3 year old. GUILIN didn’t live up to expectations on turf debut when 5th at Beverley but the merit of his 2 AW runs see him given another chance.
