PRETTY SWEET is shaping up to be a reliable operator who is never far from the action. She has found the frame in all 7 runs to date including a trip win at Bath. She likes this surface and can go on better than her latest neck defeat at Kempton. PALLAS DANCER showed his best yet when scoring over this trip at Newcastle last month. He is upped 4lb for the effort but could continue to build toward another score.

DRAGONS WILL RISE was last seen winning narrowly at Pontefract back in June. He is arguably more effective on the AW and is 2 from 3 over C&D so should be in a spot to make a compelling bid on comeback. HOOFLEPUFF is a local specialist who has to be considered having won with a bit in hand over C&D recently.

A’SHAARI was last seen a very respectable 5th in the Sandringham Stakes at Royal Ascot. She can build on that effort in these calmer waters. GODDESS OF FIRE doesn’t often run a bad race and seems to remain in good shape after a nice 2nd at Lingfield over the mile 9 days ago.

WONDER ELMOSSMAN has struck the crossbar in 4 of 5 runs to date and while that has proven somewhat frustrating he is certainly good enough to take out a moderate event like this. RABAT has been sharpening up in a couple of spins on synthetics and could be in a nice spot to capitalise if the selection needs something to chase.

BERYL THE PERIL has improved with each run since joining Kevin Philippart de Foy, last seen going down narrowly over C&D. PEACHEY CARNEHAN has a few C&D wins under his belt including on penultimate outing. He is very well-raced in these surrounds and should enter calculations once more.

STRATEGIC FORTUNE won over this trip back in April when based out of Ireland. Since denied by a head at Kempton before settling for 4th over C&D he is doing well on his way to an open UK account. BOMB SQUAD has to be considered after cruising home by a neck at Kempton over 6f. He is better over shorter but has enough class to press here.
