Race 1 – Wolverhampton Racecourse
LA FEILE is a debut winner who has plenty of scope for improvement based off her useful 2 length 4th on handicap bow at Leicester. If she takes to the surface she can go well off a 1lb lower mark combined with a 3lb claimer booked. LOVELY MANA is a local winner who cannot be underestimated as she drops in class following a 7th at G3 level at The Curragh. She wasn’t going to land a blow that day but the experience is always valuable.
Top Tip – LA FEILE (5)
One to consider – LOVELY MANA (1)

MATAMUA has been threatening a win for some time and her latest 3rd over C&D has been heartily boosted by both 1st and 2nd. Off the back of that she looks dangerous, especially off a 2lb lower mark. SECRET MOMENT came within ¾ of a length over C&D in a first-time visor and the headgear is retained on compensation bid.
Top Tip – MATAMUA (8)
One to consider – SECRET MOMENT (1)
Race 3 – Wolverhampton Racecourse
ATLANTIC HEART finished with conviction in 4th on debut over 6f here and is likely to benefit from the extra run today. She has a poor draw but Jack Mitchell is capable of overcoming that. FYLDE COAST was a gusty 2nd at Beverley latest and won’t be troubled be the slight drop in yardage. If he takes to the Tapeta he could offer plenty of resistance.
Top Tip – ATLANTIC HEART (9)
One to consider – FYLDE COAST (4)

Race 4 – Wolverhampton Racecourse
HAUNTED DREAM won emphatically over 10f at Chelmsford last week and could double down now 4lb well in despite a 6lb penalty for the effort with the drop in trip no issue. ICONIC LOOK has posted some solid efforts in defeat in the novice ranks, including a couple of placings over 7 and 8 furlongs. She cannot be underestimated off a mark of 76 now going handicapping with her rider taking a further 5lb off her back.
Top Tip – HAUNTED DREAM (7)
One to consider – ICONIC LOOK (3)
Race 5 – Wolverhampton Racecourse
PAVLODAR wasn’t much across the channel when last seen but prior to that had back to back 2nd finishes here in the UK. If he can recapture those efforts he can make a winning return. UPTON PARK showed a bright future might be ahead when 3rd on debut at Ffos Las and should improve for the run.
Top Tip – PAVLODAR (7)
One to consider – UPTON PARK (8)

NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND is off a mark just4lb above his C&D win back in August and the return to his preferred surface can see him regain some momentum. MONDAMMEJ was a solid player when landing a couple of wins at Haydock last month and is far better than the dead last at York we saw earlier this month.
Top Tip – NEWYORKSTATEOFMIND (6)
One to consider – MONDAMMEJ (2)
Race 7 – Wolverhampton Racecourse
JAZZY PRINCESS had LUCKY MAN just a head behind when winning over this trip at Chelmsford and the two get to battle it out once more. Robert Cowell’s filly is fancied to maintain her dominance as she has a much better draw once more. LUCKY MAN won’t give up without a fight but has some serious work to do.
Top Tip – JAZZY PRINCESS (1)
One to consider – LUCKY MAN (3)

SHINING AITCH was well-backed at Chelmsford when trouble in the run ensured he was never able to contest the finish. He can make serious amends off the same 71 mark now back over a C&D he has found the frame over in both efforts. STAR OF VALOUR is better than the 6th we saw at Kempton latest and could bounce back off a 1lb lower mark on return to winning C&D.
Top Tip – SHINING AITCH (4)
One to consider – STAR OF VALOUR (6)
