GET A TONIC won between the flags before posting a couple of promising bumper efforts. She built on those to find 2nd on hurdle bow and went one better at Leicester latest. She has the scope to take this out over an ideal trip. TIGERBYTHETAIL was outpaced on hurdle bow but was a respectable 4th. With that under his belt he could fire up nicely for the red-hot Olly Murphy team.

Race 2 – Uttoxeter Racecourse
IN OUR DREAMS has struck the crossbar in both hurdle outings and now making handicap bow could exploit a mark of 118 as he goes up in trip. MR WASHINGTON fought to the bitter end to secure victory by a neck at Chepstow on comeback run. The 4lb hike seems hefty but he should come forward now fighting fit.

DORISA QUEEN seemed outpaced at Stratford latest but managed to fire up late and win readily. Now upped 6lb she can strike again now upped in trip. POLA CHANCE was an emphatic 7 length winner back in January 2020 over this trip at Wetherby before settling for 4th at Catterick. She could prove a player on those efforts on comeback from 676 days off.

Race 4 – Uttoxeter Racecourse
CALL ME LORD gives weight to all on chase bow/comeback run but as a 2 time G2 winner over timber it isn’t surprising. Nor will it be surprising for him to bring his class across to fences as he is under the capable eye of Nicky Henderson. GUSTAVIAN is another interesting chase debutant, not as illustrious as the selection but he certainly has shown enough to be a threatening presence.

KALZARI has found the frame in all 3 outings, including a win France. She remains unexposed for David Pipe, is fitted with a first-time tongue-tie and is fancied to prove too good for them here. ALBORKAN is down 2lb for finding 3rd at Leicester latest and is tried in a tongue-tie and cheekpieces combination.

Race 6 – Uttoxeter Racecourse
CLONDAW PROMISE showed all the right signs in 2nd on chase bow at Uttoxeter despite being well-held by a useful sort. He built on it by winning with 6 in hand at Lingfield since and looks an exciting prospect in these ranks. The 8lb hike will be felt but Jonjo O’Neill’s charge should be up to the task now sporting cheekpieces. MILLE SUSSURRI should be better off for his comeback 2nd at Hereford and should build on the experience in these ranks.

Race 7 – Uttoxeter Racecourse
WOLFSPEAR won well in the bumpers on debut in an effort boosted by the runner up scoring twice in this sphere since. That looks strong enough form for Olly Murphy’s gelding to be a player. FULL OF LIGHT made an error that led to him being beaten into 2nd at odds-on at Ludlow on hurdle/yard bow for Nicky Henderson. This track should be more forgiving in that regard and he can fight for compensation.

Race 8 – Uttoxeter Racecourse
SIDEWAYSINMILAN has experience and a couple of placings between the flags along with a Warwick bumper win under his belt to work from. Last seen 3rd over hurdles at Warwick on first attempt he looks to have a very strong hand. HIDOR DE BERSY fired up too early and weakened late to find 2nd on hurdle bow at Carlisle and could get his timing right here.
