ALIOMAANA was threatening to open her hurdle account here before falling at the last. She is the only runner here with hurdle experience and can gain due compensation. OLYMPUS has useful family members in the NH sphere and could be amongst it on hurdle bow.

PAY THE PIPER has won 3 of his 4 hurdle runs to date and wasn’t disgraced latest when 2nd by a neck. If he brings this level over to fences he’ll be very tough to top. MINELLA TRUMP has been ripe all summer and is on the line for a 4 streak. This is a tougher task than previous legs to there will be a lot of work to do to keep the unbeaten streak alive.

Race 4 – Perth Racecourse
CLONDAW HOLLOW demonstrated strong progression when winning in style at Downpatrick when last sighted over hurdles. Now under a 7lb penalty he should still put up quite the fight. PUNXSUTAWNEY PHIL did excellent late work to find 3rd on hurdle bow at Stratford and should be on the premises.

O CONNELL STREET found a progressive rival too good last time here on chase bow. In a field lacking that same level of calibre he can go one better now dropped in trip. MAKKA PAKKA was a useful 2nd at Market Rasen last time and has more to come.

Race 6 – Perth Racecourse
GO FOX did everything right when victorious over C&D latest to open his hurdle account. He is upped 5lb for the effort but should have plenty more to come now tasting victory in these ranks. UNIVERSAL FOLLY showed some of his best when close runner up at Cartmel last time and could land a blow.

SPIDER’S BITE makes appeal on yard bow for Adam Nicol after posting some strong efforts for Neil Mulholland. Last seen 2nd by a neck here he should be on the scene off a 2lb higher mark. HEAD ON is an improving sort who has won both chases to date so has a nice hat trick on the line. This is, fittingly his hardest challenge to date and this might be too much if he doesn’t bring his all.

SHANROE TIC TEC is back over 3m after showing staying prowess over shorter the last twice. His last effort over this trip came at Worcester in April when 2nd. If he is ready to fight after 115 days off he can get back on the scoreboard. FAIRLAWN FLYER has posted 2 decent efforts over hurdles and has plenty more to come so is worth a look.
