BLACK MEDICK gave a glimpse of a return to form when 4th here last time. He is 4lb under his last winning mark and could make the most of an ideal trip. HE’S OUR STAR is a reliable operator and should prove hard to keep out of the frame.

ALREHB showed plenty of potential when 2nd on debut at Newcastle this month. He is well-bred and could go one better in this sort of field. CHARGER is the one to watch out for after a nice 4th at Pontefract.

Race 4 – Lingfield Racecourse
NATURAL COLOUR got the job done on bid number 6 at Doncaster over this trip in cheekpieces. They are retained today and he can continue to improve for Godolphin off a modest 1lb hike. ALLERBY is back over the mile sporting cheekpieces and could find plenty of improvement.

PENYWERN TAVERNER missed the jump at Yarmouth before doing some excellent late work to salvage the run into 2nd after losing his front shoes. He can go one better with a bit of luck and his rider taking a useful 5lb off. TOP EXHIBIT got the job done in style at Ffos Las back in August but didn’t live up to expectations at Yarmouth when something didn’t seem quite right. He is down in grade and could make up for it here.

Race 6 – Lingfield Racecourse
MISS HOUDINI fired the booster late at Redcar back in May to secure the goods by a nose on debut. She has since changed hands and been out to pasture. She could make a big splash on comeback for new connections with an extra furlong to operate over. JUST AN INKLING could pick up the pieces if the selection needs a run, having found 4th in both runs to date and seems trip suited.

FIRENZE ROSA was beaten by a head at Sandown latest and could get back on top now just 1lb higher than her last winning mark. LADY FLORENCE is a hit and miss sort but is respected as a C&D winner who could fire up here.
