BLIND BEGGAR has been well-tried at York of late and the flat track here should suit. This is a much easier task and he can get back on the scoreboard. JOHN KIRKUP snuck his nose in front to win over C&D back in July and is off the same mark after a couple of ordinary efforts.

CAPITAL THEORY has shown ample potential in all 3 runs to date including 4th in a valuable York maiden in August. He is down in grade today and has enough going his way to score. MR ALAN was not disgraced on debut in 7th at Yarmouth and after that run and some rest he should be a sharper colt for George Boughey.

KATS BOB has struck the crossbar the last twice off this mark and is now returned to 7f which just might be the ideal for him to make it 12th time lucky. WRITTEN BROADCAST got home by a head at Musselburgh on penultimate start and if he can recapture that effort he can land a blow.

WOBWOBWOB wasn’t far back when 3rd over C&D latest and should benefit from the cut in the ground along with Ryan Sexton’s very useful 7lb claim. COLD STARE was a gutsy winner at Haydock latest and while conditions aren’t as soft they’re looking very workable.
