OPERATING gets a nod on debut for the Gosdens, sporting regal pedigree and looks likely to be very popular. PLAYDAY was touched off late but held on well to land a length 2nd over the mile at Lingfield. She is expected to benefit from the longer run but this going to require further improvement.

CELTIC CLASSIC is the pick on form as the sole past C&D winner who is looking to return to progression after a handful of misfires. Now under the Neil King banner he might be able to leave those runs in the past. LEROY BROWN is respected having chased home a useful rival over 2m at Lingfield latest. He is a staying sort so the drop in trip may actually be detrimental. Keep an eye on him.

ANDALEEP was last seen a respectable 5th at Kempton over the mile. That was a higher grade and the form has indeed been boosted since. Off a 2lb lower mark he can put the form to good work. CAREY STREET gave all to land the spoils by just a neck over C&D latest and could enter the fray off just 2lb higher.

ETERNAL SUMMER is worth a look on debut for the Gosdens, sporting a hefty 350,000 Guinea asking price.
