BRAVEHEART caught the eye in 2nd in a Sedgefield bumper before finding the same spot on hurdle debut at Taunton. He can put the experience to good use and go one better. HOLLY is a 3 time bumper winner across the Channel but wasn’t anything special when 5th on hurdle bow at Uttoxeter.

Race 2 – Wincanton Racecourse
KAKAMORA is back from 235 days off and a wind operation to tackle fences for the first time. Victorious the last twice over hurdles he can line up a nice cross-code hat trick. STRIKING A POSE was a powerful winner on chase bow at Exeter in November and should fire up for the experience.

Race 3 – Wincanton Racecourse
EARTH COMPANY was an effortless victor at Taunton with 7+ in hand and looks an exciting prospect. Now having tasted success he can build on the effort now going handicapping off a mark of 124. BRIEF TIMES has won both hurdle bouts readily and has to be respected on a hat trick bid. This is a tougher task but he is fairly treated off an opening 126 mark.

Race 4 – Wincanton Racecourse
RAINYDAY WOMAN was a useful bumper runner who showed plenty of aptitude in 2nd on hurdle bow at Ludlow. She banked on it when making all here latest and finishing with authority and 11 in hand. She can double down if harnessing the same effort. MASCAT won well over less here back in October and is interesting now under the banner of Harriet Brown. He has to concede 7lb and upward to rivals but isn’t out of it.

YOUNG O’LEARY was a very promising runner up over hurdles on yard debut at Taunton for Tim Vaughan. He should be fighting fit for reverting to fences today and has shown some of his best in these ranks. JACK VALENTINE demands respect for the red-hot Venetia Williams team and has done little wrong in 4 chase starts including a win on first attempt at Leicester in January.

Race 6 – Wincanton Racecourse
MERRY MISTRESS was last seen a solid victor at Hereford after securing an early lead and holding it. She is up 7lb for the effort but a similar showing can see her duly rewarded. JAUNTY SORIA was a good winner at Perth a few months back and wasn’t disgraced when beaten into 2nd by a neck at Fontwell latest.

Race 7 – Wincanton Racecourse
BOMBER’S MOON got his timing wrong when waiting too long to make an offensive, landing 4th here on chase bow. Another go at a slightly shorter run combined with his rider’s 10lb claim could see him get it right. ABBEY STREET won well at Plumpton latest and will have plenty of stamina to draw from as he seeks to find the front. This track is a bit tougher to do that but he’s capable if all goes his way.
