Race 2 – Warwick Racecourse
PRECIOUS ELEANOR won off a 4lb lower mark over hurdles 3 runs back and was a pleasing runner up on chase bow at Fakenham late last month. She should be able to build on that effort here. ORIENTAL CROSS was a convincing winner on comeback run and could strike again off a 4lb higher perch.

Race 3 – Warwick Racecourse
QUEENS RIVER was a winner between the flags in Ireland late last year and looks likely to be wound up nicely for rules bow. Nicky Henderson is in fine form and handles newcomers well so expect plenty of market support. WEST BALBOA has a similar profile after finding 2nd best in the pointers in Ireland and now flies the banner of Dan Skelton so has to be respected.

Race 4 – Warwick Racecourse
EDWARDSTONE was tracking well over C&D 12 days ago before being brought down by a rival. He has had some bad luck in these ranks but has the potential to overcome it here. ELIXIR DE NUTZ is a G1 winner over timber and was a solid 2nd on his own chase bow at Hereford late last year. He has a length absence to account for but could fire up well as a front runner for the in-form Colin Tizzard team.

Race 5 – Warwick Racecourse
ITALIAN SPIRIT opened his account in the bumpers on 2nd attempt before shifting to hurdles where he was a respectable 4th at Newbury on his first spin. He put that lesson hard to work when appearing at Fakenham and blowing them out of the water by 11 lengths and looks fairly treated off an opening 116 here. GUERNSEY had a healthy 3 length margin when scoring in speedy conditions at Exeter and could remain competitive despite the 5lb rise.

Race 6 – Warwick Racecourse
REGAL ENCORE was last seen a very respectable 3rd in a G3 at Ascot off a 1lb higher mark. He is a talented sort who can put that run to good work now in much calmer waters. VINTAGE CLOUDS should be fighting fit after a decent comeback 5th at Kelso. He is 4lb above his winning mark on penultimate run in a G3 at Chester and can make a splash here.

BONNET showed ample potential in 2nd on debut at Exeter last month and now running with experience could prove a tough one to peg back. ILIADE ALLEN was 3rd to the selection that day and could find another supporting role today.
