Race 2 – Taunton Racecourse
PASO DOBLE made such a positive impression when scoring at Kempton on 2nd start over timber that he was sent off into a G2 at Chepstow. He couldn’t do much there but the experience ids meaningful and he lined up well to strike the crossbar at Kempton since. This looks his time to get back on the board despite conceding weight. JEREMY THE JINN won well on bumper debut before flailing a bit when upped in grade. Now making hurdle bow, Fergal O’Brien’s charge could unlock plenty.

LIME DROP is in a superb pocket of form after scoring at Worcester and backing it up at Leicester. She has a strong hat trick on the line and the 7lb penalty is no worry as she remains 7lb well-in for a rapid turnabout. FOLLY GATE was a valiant 2nd on comeback over C&D latest and could mount a challenge now the cobwebs are gone.

JEREMY PASS won well from the front at Ascot latest and should prove too classy for this small field under a 2lb hike. ORGANDI couldn’t get into the groove when 3rd at Listed level at Market Rasen latest and could throw down the gauntlet here.

OSPREY CALL was tracking well for a late bid when falling 3 out at Newbury, she has done little wrong in these ranks and can make an immediate recovery in ideal conditions. GRAN LUNA won well at Chepstow back in April and could make a splash on comeback as she goes handicapping for Nicky Henderson.

NICKOLSON was a superb runner up to a strong rival on chase bow at Warwick last month. With that under his belt and an unchanged mark he can go one better. GLAJOU was last seen well-held in 2nd over timber and should relish this return to fences on 2nd outing after a wind operation.

CARRY ON THE MAGIC found a Chepstow maiden a bit much on comeback run but nevertheless gained some race fitness. Now going handicapping and upped in trip Paul Nicholl’s charge could tap some of the potential shown between the flags. KENDELU was a strong winner here latest and could double down over an ideal trip off 4lb higher.
