Race 2 – Plumpton Racecourse
NASSALAM won emphatically at Newbury with 30 in hand and now has an exciting hat trick to land on 3rd chase outing. KID COMMANDO was 11 lengths back in 3rd when the selection kicked off their chase campaign. He can build on what was his own chase debut as he is 14lb better off than the selection.

SANDY BROOK was a pleasing winner in a Hereford bumper before finding the podium in both hurdle outings. Back from a short rest, normal improvement can see him open the hurdle account. WHISTLEINTHEDARK made a big step forward when 2nd on comeback run at Worcester. Now racing under the Richard Hawker banner and going up in trip we can see a big effort.

DR KANANGA has done little wrong in 3 career starts, scoring with 26 in hand on 2nd start. Last seen 2nd on handicap bow Ben Clarke’s gelding can go one better off a 3lb higher mark. HARD TO FORGET has food 4th the last twice but a similar effort to his April win at Uttoxeter will see him a big player.

KARAKORAM struck the crossbar over C&D latest with the form being boosted since by the winner. A 1lb rise is unlikely to prevent him going one better. HEY BOB has proven hard to keep out of the frame of late and can once more bring home a cheque.

DONT BE ROBIN dominated rivals over C&D latest at juicy 20/1 odds on comeback run. A 7lb hike will be felt but he had enough in the tank to shrug it off. GUGUSS COLLONGES should improve now running with chase experience after finding 3rd at Lingfield. The increase in trip is likely to aid his cause.
