FLAMBOROUGH was denied by just ¾ of a length on debut over slightly shorter at Brighton. He is likely to gain compensation now racing with that under his belt. SHIGAR was a pleasing 3rd on debut over 7f at Yarmouth in a more competitive affair and could put that run to excellent work for the power team of Haggas and Marquand.

WALK OF STARS ran too green to score on debut for Charlie Appleby but was a strong performer in 3rd behind experienced rivals. He should sharpen markedly for the experience and gets a vote to build on that promise today. GLAM DE VEGA was another pleasing debutant when 5th at Yarmouth over 7f. Roger Varian’s colt should benefit from the up to the mile now racing with experience.

BOX TO BOX found himself outpaced when 3rd on handicap bow at Newbury over 7f back in August. Back from a rest and now upped in trip he could find things much more to his liking. ROLLAJAM is another who will relish this trip after a good 3rd at Newmarket on his own handicap debut.
