FURTHER MEASURE did strong late work to find 4th at HQ latest and is set to benefit from a return to this surface. The extra run should aid his cause and he should find enough improvement to contest the finish. DREAMS UNWIND has been posting respectable efforts in defeat over 14f of late and is tipped to relish the drop to her winning trip.

STARGAZER weakened late after tracking well for most of the extended 14f at Doncaster last time. The ground was a bit slow for his liking so he’s likely to enjoy the return to these conditions as a C&D winner who does best work at this track. KING OF THE SOUTH needed the run when beating none home on comeback run late last month at Doncaster. He is extremely effective here and should step forward with Tom Marquand a pleasing booking.

ORIENTAL WORLD gets an enthusiastic nod on debut for the powerful team of Charlie Appleby and Silvestre De Sousa. He sports some seriously esteemed pedigree and should give quite the account off the bat. VOODOO QUEEN is the pick of those with experience, sharpening up mid run on her debut to find a good 3rd over the extended mile. She is very interesting going up in trip now tackling the Polytrack.

TARROOB returns under a 5lb penalty following a solid C&D victory 10 days ago. Tom Marquand takes over in the irons and can strike while the iron is hot. ATHMAD has been underperforming over turf but returns to the AW where he is significantly more effective.

NIGHT ON EARTH came agonisingly close to scoring over this trip at Wolverhampton on yard bow for Mick Appleby. He gets to try again off the same mark with Silvestre De Sousa taking the ride and improvement likely. INDIAN SOUNDS was lacklustre at Doncaster latest but his prior form suggests he’s likely to bounce back here.

HONKY TONK MAN was nothing special when last home on debut but the lesson was put to work when effortless scoring at 10/1 over this trip at Lingfield late last month. He’s under penalty but Harry Burns takes a handy 5lb off so he could double down. NOTIONS caught the eye on debut when 2nd at 28/1 behind a useful rival. He came back to score readily over this trip at Chelmsford and can also use his riders’ 5lb claim to pad the penalty. He is likely to battle it out of with the selection.

RABAT is unlucky to remain a maiden after 8 runs, having found the top 4 in a healthy 6 of those outings. She wasn’t far beaten in 4th at Lingfield over this trip on her AW debut and she can step forward from there in a very winnable contest. SILVER BUBBLE has found the frame the last twice here over 6f and the mile so a drop to 7f should see her right amongst it.
