SIROCO JO won his maiden over C&D back in March before struggling when upped in class at Ascot. Making season comeback he could benefit from these surrounds. OSPREY CALL was a pleasing runner-up over C&D when last sighted and should be on the premises.

Race 2 – Newbury Racecourse
CHANCYCOURT was touched off in the dying moments of his Worcester debut last month. With that under his belt this Fergal O’Brien gelding could take some beating now going hurdling. BROOMFIELD BURG was nothing special on rules debut in 7th over C&D but learned plenty. He came back to win at Southwell before making a winning hurdle debut at Warwick. He has a nice hat trick on the line and could pick up right where he left off.

SILVER FOREVER hasn’t been seen in 670 days but was last seen scoring over timber at Listed level at Sandown. This 3 horse field looks ideal for Paul Nicholls’ mare to make a winning foray into the chase ranks. IMPERIAL ALCAZAR concedes 7lb to the selection and is on the hunt for amends after failing to fire at Cheltenham back in March.

Race 4 – Newbury Racecourse
ELLE EST BELLE won her first couple of bumpers including at Listed level before finding the frame at G1 and G2 levels. That is some seriously smart form and now going over hurdles she looks very appealing. NINA THE TERRIER won readily under penalty at Chepstow on season comeback and looks likely to be a major player on hat trick bid.

POLISH was last seen winning by a neck on the flat at Goodwood last month. He should be fighting fit and can pick up where he left off now reverting to hurdles where he won over C&D convincingly back in February. STONEY MOUNTAIN is back at his last winning rating and is known to show up well after a break.

VALLERES makes appeal on chase bow as a useful hurdler who has 2 wins and a place from just 5 outings. He has won over timber after a long break and could bring that standard to fences. LUST FOR GLORY is respected coming down in grade and is the representative of Nicky Henderson who took this out last time.

Race 7 – Newbury Racecourse
SPORTING ACE caught the eye when runner up between the flags in Ireland to a runner who has franked the form under rules since. A similar standard from him can make for a winning debut. CLEAN GETAWAY is respected for Nicky Henderson who has won 2 of the 6 iterations of this event. He pulled up lame when 5th on debut but should be sharper for this.
