OBEY THE RULES won well over this trip at Hereford 3 days ago and can strike while the iron is hot with the 6lb penalty looking workable here. HEART OF A LION showed some solid skills over hurdles without winning last season and looks like the sort who could prove very useful in the chase ranks.

WHAT ABOUT TIME kicked things off under rules with a nice Uttoxeter score back in November 2020. Now making comeback after just under a year he’s fancied to make a winning bid. CURRENT MOOD is respected off the back of her 14 length victory on hurdle debut at Ffos Las but this is a much tougher task so she’ll need to dig deep.

FROM THE HEART is up a hefty 10lb for an absolutely dominant 34 length victory at Exeter last month when fitted with first-time cheekpieces. They are back on today and he looks hard to oppose. TINKERS HILL TOMMY had to settle for 2nd here when gunning for a hat trick back in April. He wasn’t disgraced there and could regain the winning thread on his return if the selection can’t follow up.
