FINAL GESTURE gets a nod on debut for the powerful Charlie Appleby string. She sports some esteemed pedigree including plenty of black types. KIRILENKO was a pleasing 5th on debut over this trip at Newmarket and could come forward for the run now trying the AW.

TESTING FAITH was a strong runner-up on debut at Pontefract back in September. The winner has gone on to find the frame at Listed level so he gets a big nod to go one better. ROCHEBRUNE was a much improved 3rd over this trip at Brighton on 2nd start and could have more to offer for George Baker.

GREENSCAPE had ample potential on show when 4th on debut over C&D. She is fancied to improve significantly for the experience and can open her account here. MARCELO’S WAY was a bit green when striking the crossbar at Chelmsford. Any improvement on that can see him plenty dangerous.

MOBADRA was very pleasing in 2nd at Newmarket back in September and looks set to go one better for Roger Varian. SANAADH was a much improved 3rd over track and trip last time and cannot be ignored.

CAPOTE’S DREAM is in top shape having won his last couple by a short head. He has had a few months to recover and off a 4lb higher mark can make for the hat trick. MIGHTY GHURKA comes way down in class and could put on a lesson and foil the selection.

CITY TOUR got away slowly at Kempton latest but still worked hard to find a nice silver medal. He is up 1lb for the effort and can go one better if he times it right. RUMI was a pleasing dead-heated winner here back in September and could unlock more now upped in trip.
