LINE OF DESCENT was a useful performer on the flat under the Crisfords and wasn’t disgraced in 4th on hurdle/yard bow for Warren Greatrex. With experience to draw from he can fire up nicely. BIG BOY BOBBY is interesting on yard and hurdle debut for Alan King, he was similarly useful on the flat and could have a lot to come.

ART OF DIPLOMACY unlocked massive improvement when upped to 24f at Ludlow on yard bow for Richard Newland. A little more run today won’t hurt his chances for a nice double under an 8lb hike. SCARPIA went down by ¾ of a length on comeback from 257 days off at Ascot. He should have plenty more to come for the effort.

Race 4 – Hereford Racecourse
RED ROOKIE showed plenty of aptitude for chasing when 2nd by a neck at Chepstow over this trip. He was unlucky to fall latest at the 8th and can make up for it here off a workable 134 mark. CALL ME LORD is talented over timber and showed enough to work with in 4th on chase bow at Uttoxeter. Off a 4lb lower mark he can continue to improve for Nicky Henderson.

LOCH GARMAN ARIS won his last couple by convincing margins, including latest at Bangor-on-Dee by a dominant 32 lengths. He is up 12lb for the effort but can notch a seriously impressive hat trick over fences on comeback if not in need of the run. FELTON BELLEVUE could offer the most resistance after back to back 2nds since joining the chase ranks.

Race 6 – Hereford Racecourse
I SPY A DIVA was unfortunate when pulled up at Stratford latest but had made a positive impression when 2nd by a nose on hurdle bow at Huntingdon preceding that. A winner in the bumpers we should see a revival of sorts. DANCING DANI is a winner between the flags who made a splash with a couple of promising efforts in these ranks before a misfire at Chepstow saw her well-held downfield. She can recapture the standard of her hurdle debut with a better run expected.

NOCTE VOLATUS stormed home at Catterick last week with 17 in hand. He is rapidly turned out for Tom Lacey off an unchanged mark and could double down in style. JOBESGREEN LAD got off the mark at Ludlow on 2nd outing in these ranks and should have more to come in this sphere.
