PERCY’S WORD didn’t land a blow when 4th of 4 over 20f at Worcester. A drop in both trip and grade can see him recover some confidence. HAYEDO looks capable of an upset, last seen last of 5 on the flat at Epsom a return to this sphere can see him build on his Newton Abbot 3rd now down 2lb.

L’AIR DU VENT was well-held but respectable when 13 lengths 2nd at Newton Abbot latest. Now he goes up in trip and sports first-time cheekpieces we could see him go one better. DAZZLING GLORY showed good staying ability when ½ a length 2nd at Worcester latest. Another go off the same mark, with Tristan Durrell taking 7lb off can see her go well indeed.

Expect another big effort from Don McCain’s filly off an opening 107. FIRE LAKE has won her last couple convincingly and is deserving of respect on hat trick bid. A 4lb hike is removed by her rider’s 7lb claim and she’s capable of battling it out for the glory.
