MOT A MOT scored readily on hurdle bow at Worcester last month and now running with that under his belt he can double down off a 6lb penalty. HERMES BOY was 2nd to a clever type at Bangor-on-Dee latest and could mount a bold compensation bid.

Race 3 – Exeter Racecourse
HELIOS ALLEN unlocked immediate improvement when shifted to the handicaps, scoring well at Chepstow with a very healthy lead. He is upped 9lb but there was so much merit to the run he is fancied to double down. NO HUBS NO HOOBS comes up in trip on handicap bow and could build on his comeback 4th at Newton Abbot.

Race 4 – Exeter Racecourse
ADRIMEL has some prestige to recover after being pulled up at Aintree and Cheltenham this year. He landed a hat trick over timber before then and seemed to hint at being a recruit to chasing. He gets that opportunity now for Tom Lacey and looks like a promising contender. BOOTHILL was a most pleasing 3rd at Listed level on comeback run in the hurdles at Ascot at the end of October and should also prove a useful chaser.

Race 5 – Exeter Racecourse
GUNSIGHT RIDGE caught the eye when 3rd on chase bow in a competitive Aintree event in early November. With that run under his belt he could be in store for an open account here. LONGSHANKS is another promising recruit to this sphere when 3rd on his first run at Stratford.

Race 6 – Exeter Racecourse
DANCING SHADOW hasn’t won since way back in November 2017 but he seems to be on his way uphill once more. He has placed in both outings this season and was a good 3rd in this event last year. He won’t get much better a chance to get back on the scoreboard. NORMANDY SOLDIER is dangerous off the back of a local win over shorter and could throw down the gauntlet.

FIRESTREAM was very close to the action in 4th on debut at Ascot and should build on it now running with experience. MOUNT PLEASANT gets a mention on debut for solid pedigree and the fine form Nicky Henderson team of late.
