THE TOOJUMPA won readily on first run for Fergal O’Brien at Worcester and the 5lb rise is manageable here as he shoots for a nice double. He has enormous scope for improvement here. NO NO JULIET is a stablemate to the selection and has some claims having posted solid efforts in her last couple of runs in these ranks. She hasn’t been seen since March but has posted competitive bids off a rest in the past.

Race 2 – Chepstow Racecourse
BEAU HAZE notched 3 wins in this sphere last season and was a solid 3rd on comeback run when shooting for a delayed hat trick. Off the same mark and back over an ideal trip he can take another step forward. INVESTMENT MANAGER won convincingly at Newton Abbot last month and is respected lining up for a double under a 6lb hike.

Race 3 – Chepstow Racecourse
SARASOTA STAR was a much improved performer when firing up to score on 2nd chase outing at Worcester. Since a respectable 4th over timber he can improve further on return to fences. FABRIQUE EN FRANCE showed ample potential in a brief hurdle campaign and now going chasing after a long break and wind surgery could prove a strong player.

CHANCEUX has been knocking hard at the door in all 4 runs to date including a career-best 2nd at Hereford on hurdle bow. He can go one better in this sort of field. WAR CALL showed his best yet when 4th on comeback from wind surgery and now fighting fit can make an even bigger dent today.

WELSBY was 8 lengths clear of the rest of the pack when 4 lengths 2nd to a progressive rival over C&D late last month. He can go one better in a field lacking that sort of talent. GAULOIS showed ample promise in a couple of Irish hurdles and demands respect now making UK/yard bow for Paul Nicholls following wind surgery.

Race 6 – Chepstow Racecourse
YOUNG BUTLER made a positive impression on hurdle bow when 3rd over C&D and with that under his belt he can build toward an open account. OFFYOUPOP was a nice 3rd on debut in the bumpers back in January and is respected on comeback now tackling timber.

Race 7 – Chepstow Racecourse
SIXTY DOLLARS MORE is up 1lb for a superb 22/1 comeback 2nd at Fontwell. The form has been boosted since and Colin Tizzard’s gelding can go one better on those terms. VALENTINO tore it up at Newton Abbot and backed it up with a narrower score at Taunton and demands respect lining up for the hat trick off a further 3lb rise. He is now 13lb higher than his first win so will need to lift but can’t be discounted.
