SKATMAN has done little wrong in 2 starts over hurdles winning both readily including his latest under penalty at Newton Abbot. The 3rd that day has franked the form handsomely and Paul Nicholls’ charge looks poised for a nice hat trick. AN TAILLIUR demands respect having won his last 5 in good spirits but he’s nearing his ceiling as he launches off a 125 mark which is 29lb higher than he started this run off.

Race 2 – Cheltenham Racecourse.
STOLEN SILVER is up a seemingly lenient 4lb for a dominant 11 length victory at Market Rasen on yard bow for Sam Thomas. He has Grade winning form over timber and should have plenty more to come in these ranks. MAGIC SAINT was a very respectable 2nd in a local G2 in April and is 5lb lower than that day courtesy of a comeback 7th here at the end of October.

Race 3 – Cheltenham Racecourse
MY DROGO has been an exciting prospect since debut when 2nd at 50/1 in the bumpers. Immediately shifted to hurdles he has won all 4 starts readily and doesn’t show any signs of slowing down now up against one other rival. GIN ON LIME is a G3 winning mare who is in top form and highly respected but unlikely to be able to overpower the selection on these terms.

Race 4 – Cheltenham Racecourse
DIESEL D’ALLIER took this out back in 2019 and wasn’t disgraced off this mark in 4th last year. He could get it right now racing for Richard Bandey. BALKO DES FLOS is a G1 winning chaser who was last seen in these ranks a good 2nd at 100/1 in the Grand National.

Race 5 – Cheltenham Racecourse
GELINO BELLO dominated rivals at Aintree last time and should enjoy the extra furlong of run today. He has a good scope for improvement and should be the one to beat. OFF YOUR ROCCO was an emphatic 11 length winner at Listowel in September and backed it up with a 2 length Listed win at Limerick last month. He has a fair shot at a hat trick but will have to lift to tackle the selection at this level.

Race 6 – Cheltenham Racecourse
SAMBA DANCER capped off a hat trick with a solid C&D win by a head off a 3lb lower mark. He is the best shape he’s ever been in and looks progressive enough to go in again. PERCY’S WORD carries equal top weight and is a very difficult runner to keep out of the frame at this level.
