MIDGETONAMISSION struggled when 4th at Newcastle recently, now upped in trip she could take another step forward. EIGHT OF DIAMONDS is interesting sporting a first-time hood and could fire up nicely here.

GIN O’CLOCK kicked things off nicely when 2nd at York over the mile on debut. Dropped in trip he could prove much sharper for the run now going over the Polytrack. LILA GIRL failed to fire in 6th on debut when sent off favourite in the betting. She may have needed the outing and could step forward for the experience and can’t be written off just yet.

Race 4 – Chelmsford Racecourse
LONE FIGHTER showed potential when beating just one home on debut back in November 2020. He made good on that potential when returning late last month to score over this trip at Kempton. He can go in again for Godolphin. SALEYMM is worth a look now tackling synthetic and has shown signs of usefulness, especially in 4th in a first-time tongue-tie last month.

NAPPER TANDY is 2 from 4 and while the 223 day break leaves fitness questions there’s no reason he can’t put his class to work here. LIVERPOOL KNIGHT is respected having won on return to this surface at Wolverhampton latest and could overcome the penalty to post a double bid.

TROPICS needed the run when beating none home at Nottingham a month back. He is a well-raced 13 year old who has won over C&D in the past and 4 other local wins so he might be able to put his experience to work if striping fitter. COOPERATION is interesting on yard bow for the Cowell team after winning his last outing for Kevin Philippart De Foy over C&D.

DUTCH DECOY went down by a neck off this rating when 3rd here over 7f late last month. He can make up for it here on just his 2nd attempt at the mile. ENDURED showed enough to like when 4th on handicap bow over C&D latest and off the same mark with Silvestre De Sousa back in the saddle could fire up nicely.

CLIPSHAM TIGER got back into the thick of it when a close 2nd over this trip at Newcastle latest. He is off the same perch and can go one better for the effort. LAURENTIA could line up for compensation after being toppled by half a length when 3rd over C&D latest and is down 1lb for the effort.
