A Sean Tarry debutant out of a useful sire with Anton Marcus providing a steady hand, the performance of the selection prior can boost the case for this colt. FENNEC FOX did everything right when winning on debut over minimum trip at Turffontein back in November. The form has been franked and she could double down with that under her belt.

STUNNING KITTEN remains a maiden but has come close over C&D a few times and in a moderate field could take the final step forward from a workable draw. LIVERPOOL LEGEND fires up late and can never be left out of calculations, first-time blinkers seemed to help latest and are retained.

IMPERIAL MASTER has placed 5 times in 10 local outings and was narrowly beaten over the mile at Turffontein latest. The return to 10f can see him develop further. RUN AS ONE should be fighting fit after a good comeback 3rd over 9f here. He has pole position and should prove a major player.

SECRET IS OURS is very interesting on yard bow for Paul Peter, dropping back to the mile where he won his maiden over. Blinkers go on and we could see a reinvigorated gelding here. ABLUEAZURE won his maiden over 7f here on penultimate run and wasn’t disgraced in 7th since. Well-drawn from gate 4 he could notch another score as he returns to the mile with a win under his belt.

MIDNIGHT BADGER is in a good pocket of form of late, last seen scoring readily over C&D. From a better draw he can double down for Paul Peter. MIDNIGHT GEM has been doing excellent work in defeat of late but does have a shocking draw to overcome.
