MAGNUM P I caught the eye when landing bronze on debut and continued to back it up with 4 straight runner-up finishes. He has done enough to earn his maiden victory and can put those efforts to work here. WEST POINT took a big step forward when 2nd over 7f here on first run since joining Ashley Fortune. He went one better when home by a head and could find more now tackling longer trips.

FOREVER MINE is a progressive De Kock gelding that has form lines of 1122412 and was last seen denied by a neck over 7f here on comeback run. With the cobwebs gone he should be able to get back on the scoreboard. CHIJMES is a C&D winner who has posted some decent efforts in defeat since joining the Van Vuuren team and could feature.

The slight up in yardage should not cause any grief either.

PYROMANIAC caught the eye on return from a spell to chase home a very powerful rival over 7f here. With that under his belt he can take another big leap forward. SAFE PASSAGE has won all 3 runs since returning from being gelded. He has every right to shoot for quartet and is decently drawn.

BOLD FORTUNE has a solid record here of 2 wins and 2 placings from 4 appearances. She has won her last couple and has a nice hat trick on the line from a good draw of 3. RAIN IN HOLLAND won 5 straight before settling for 3rd behind a powerful type on comeback run. She could get right back to scoring here over ideal C&D.

GOT THE GREENLIGHT was in need of the outing when 9th over the mile here at the end of October. He is heavily resected under top weight but is semi-poorly drawn. A very useful performer at this level Joey Soma’s charge should be well wound up for this. MALMOOS could prove the danger having finished a place ahead of the selection that day when also needing the spin. He has the best of the draw sand could come out swinging.

OUT OF YOUR LEAGUE is better than his last couple of outings and should relish the return to this sort of trip range. He has a nice draw of 4 and can leave his misfires behind him. MARCHINGONTOGETHER has been doing well since joining the St John team, really coming into his own. He is way up in trip today but seems to possess enough scope.

CLARKSON needed the run when 3rd on comeback/yard bow for Candice Dawson over 7f at Vaal. He is bred for this sort of trip and should be able to use that run as a springboard. TUULETAR does better work at Vaal but remains unexposed enough to have a fair range for improvement now upped a further furlong.
