KING SALADIN arrives for a raid from the Western Cape and the merit of his latest 4th at Durban suggest he can gain the spoils in this moderate field. FLYING PEKAN seems to be moving in the right direction since joining Zietsman Oosthuizen.

LINGUEE was taken a bit more seriously in the betting when 2nd on yard bow for Juan Nel. Now upped in trip once more we could see him go one better. CAPE POINT gets respect for Paul Reeves on a raid from the Western Cape and could find his maiden win here.

PORT KEY reverted to 6f on yard bow for Jacques Strydom and made no splash. He has improved since when upped in trip each time and now back over a trip he won over for the De Kock team we could see a return to winning ways. CAIRON is fresh off a hat trick since joining Gavin Smith and while this is a step up in task he should remain competitive.

SWEET THE SOUND has shown plenty to like in 4 runs here including a 6f win and a couple of silvers. She has plenty of scope for improvement and can press forward in a moderate field. SWEET MARY JANE comes from the Cape fresh off the back of her maiden win and could come on now upped in trip.
