MODERN DANCER won narrowly but convincingly on debut at Doncaster over this trip in June. Rested since, Charlie Appleby’s colt has found a good opening to remain unbeaten, with William Buick returning to ride. SEEKING GOLD is best of the rest having found 2nd by ¾ of a length on debut at Newbury. He will come forward nicely for Tom Clover and may well challenge.

D DAY ODETTE went too hard over the mile at Newmarket on handicap bow, landing 3rd. If she settles well she’s likely to benefit immensely from the extra 2 furlongs today. AT LIBERTY has been remarkably consistent all year, placing the last 5 times running. He might have a bit more work to do to leave the maidens but can still find a prize here.

MISTRIX was last seen a pleasing 3rd at Leicester and should put forth another solid effort for George Scott.
