CRIOLLO gets the nod on debut for William Haggas, this Dark Angel filly looks well-readied and should find plenty of market support. VIVE LA REINE is another newcomer of note for David Simcock on pedigree.

THREE PLATOON won his maiden here over C&D on penultimate outing. Last seen a respectable 3rd at Newcastle 3 days ago we could see the rapid turnabout pay immediate dividends. IMPULSIVE ONE is a talented hurdler who is very interesting now taking to the flat once more for Nicky Henderson.

BERNARD SPEIRPOINT made the most of the return to 5f at Southwell latest when opening the account in style. With that under his belt and a modest 5lb rise to contend with we can see a nice double. BLACKCURRENT got back on the scoreboard in a Newcastle handicap last month and could enter the fray once more now at stakes level.

FITWOOD STAR looks very hard to oppose, having won all 4 outings since joining the Teal team in 2018. While he seems to have issues explaining his few and far between absences, the results speak for themselves and any time his name pops up you need to consider him. CAREY STREET has returned to form with a win and a second coming over C&D in December and warrants consideration off 1lb higher.

CORVAIR did strong late work on yard bow for Robert Cowell, landing 2nd by a length. With that under his belt he could go one better off an unchanged mark on return to his winning C&D. STREET KID could have more in him after a narrow C&D win but does go up in class and will have to improve significantly.

THAPA VC showed plenty to like in 2nd by ¾ of a length at Chelmsford, despite being touched off late. A similar effort here could see him duly compensated as he returns to the C&D of his maiden win. CHOOKIE DUNEDIN could land a blow after getting back on the scoreboard at Southwell after some lacking efforts preceding.
