BLUE COLLAR LAD won by a neck at Epsom on penultimate start before going down by a ½ length at Yarmouth 8 days ago. He can bounce right back here off the same mark. BIG BARD is a player having struck the crossbar the last twice. A 3lb hike isn’t ideal but shouldn’t be enough to hold him back.

Race 2 – Windsor Racecourse
FANCIFUL showed a good attitude when 2nd on debut at Redcar last month. With experience to draw from and now upped in trip we can see Willie Haggas’ filly go one better, with Tom Marquand taking the reins. CALETA SUNRISE has filled the runner up berth on three of her last four starts and should be on the premises once more, with Harry Davies taking a very handy 3lb off.

DIVINA GRACE wasn’t disgraced in 3rd on nursery bow at Wolverhampton last month. A lower grade and return to turf can see her turn things around. ENOCHDHU is a player having bolted up with 4 in hand at Kempton latest. The win isn’t the strongest piece of form and he’s up 8lb for the effort so he might not be able to back it up.

Race 4 – Windsor Racecourse
BAD COMPANY won nicely over 12f at Epsom early last month before being beaten in 2nd by a head when dropped in trip there. Now upped to what should prove an ideal extended 11f, he can gain due compensation and return to winning ways off an unchanged perch. HAMAKI has been making good headway, notching a nice double earlier in the year. He wasn’t great in 7th at Newbury in a stronger handicap but can make a big dent in what should be calmer waters.

Race 5 – Windsor Racecourse
STAR PLAYER was beaten by a short head in a 2 horse battle at Yarmouth. He can gain immediate compensation in a conventional field now paired with Tom Marquand. GRAND CENTRAL was nothing much when beating just one home at Doncaster latest. Clive Cox’s gelding had shown some promise prior and could bounce back having returned from wind surgery.

MY LION showed plenty promise despite equal parts greenness when 4th on debut at Yarmouth. With that as a starting point and another furlong of run she can come forward plenty for Andrew Balding. FOLK STAR is worth a look on debut for the in-form David Simcock operation.

BLOOMWITHGRACE went down by a length when 3rd on debut at Newbury over 7f. She was denied a clear passage that day and can get it right this time. GENTLE WHINNY wasn’t far beaten at all in 4th at Newmarket latest and should be able to put another foot forward.

Race 8 – Windsor Racecourse
KIRILENKO showed marked improvement when ½ a length 2nd at Windsor on handicap bow in June. A few months rest could have done her a world of good and she’s capable of picking up right where she left off. SECRET ARMY makes plenty of appeal entering off the back of a convincing maiden win at Chelmsford. That said, his 2 outings over turf haven’t been anywhere near as good as his AW standard, but they did come before the penny dropped.
