I AM REGAL was blowing on debut but still eked out victory by a neck, with the form being franked since. Paul Peter’s filly can build on that now afforded the mile and running with experience. LITTLEMARYSUNSHINE receives weight from the selection and is quite capable of pressing her own claims after finding the frame in both outings to date.

DAWN MISSION took a huge leap forward when ¾ of a length 2nd over the mile here last month. He could make the final piece of improvement for a score now upped a couple of furlongs. FORWARD SPELL has been finding fair improvement here of late and is capable of a respectable effort now also upped in trip.

PRETTY IN PEARLS posted some strong back to back 2nds in the past before a somewhat lacking 3rd over the mile here. Still, she had a few of these in tow and could bounce back now upped in trip. COLOUR CODED was a place behind the selection in 3rd back in March and was a most pleasing runner up at Vaal 20 days ago.

ALULA’S STAR gave an uncharacteristically bad account in 5th here latest. She’s a capable sort who is C&D suited so she’s given a chance to bounce back with any determined effort likely to be adequate. MILL QUEEN has done some of her best work here and took a step in the right direction when 2nd over C&D early in the month.

TIGER IN THE SUN fared better than the raw result when 6th over C&D 4 days ago. A decent draw and the benefit of fitness might see him get back into gear. LULU’S BOY has a lousy draw but is a speedy type who could get away with it if left unchecked.

NOBLE SNIPER has the best of the draws and is proven over this trip. Last seen denied over this run at Vaal by ¾ of a length he’s primed for compensation and could come out swinging. HOMELY GIRL needed the outing when 2nd on local/yard debut for Johan J Van Vuuren. With that under her belt she can offer stiff resistance on return to 7f.
