VOLOS hasn’t shown his true potential yet but is running to the 73 rating now fitted with a tongue-tie he could come good for the red-hot Stuart Williams string. GRIFFIN PARK showed enormous improvement when 2 lengths 2nd over the mile at Lingfield latest and is sure to prove popular.

SIR GREGORY was a dominant victor in a similar event over this trip at Kempton last week. He has a 5lb penalty to contend with but if arriving in the same mood will take plenty of beating. ATRAFAN has to be respected off the back of a narrow, but impressive hat trick. He could have more in him now dropped in trip again.

MAHALE couldn’t get a proper shot at the front when 3rd at Kempton latest. Off the same mark and down in grade, she could gain due compensation. WESTERN MUSIC made her final push too early when touched off by a neck over 7f here latest. A drop in trip might make her hunt for a maiden win a bit easier.

SPRING IS SPRUNG showed no signs of slowing down when home with 2 ion hand over C&D on AW debut. A 6lb hike is workable for the Royal runner. NAVELLO posted a few excellent efforts on this surface as a juvenile and could have more to come now for George Boughey.

MARSH BENHAM has been coming to the boil nicely, striking the crossbar the last twice over this trip at Kempton, including by a short head latest. An assertive ride here could deliver him a deserved maiden victory. SALTA RESTA got away well when victorious over C&D at 18/1 odds last month. The 5lb hike is workable and we could see a compelling double bid.

DONYA had more control over the race than the ¾ length margin suggested when opening the account over this trip at Lingfield last month. A 3lb hike is very manageable and Richard Kingscote is reunited with Ian Williams’ filly. CAPRICORN PRINCE has won both appearances in January and is looking to keep undefeated in 2022 with a hat trick. The 4lb hike won’t anchor him and he could battle the selection all the way.

MAHARASHTRA has proven highly progressive of late, winning his last couple here over 11f. Now upped again he could secure a nice hat trick off 4lb higher. BATOCCHI will not lie down as he chases a superb C&D hat trick. These two could resort to a good old fashioned duel.
