MR FREEDOM fared better than the raw result when 3 ½ lengths 8th at Bath latest. He’s down 22lb for the effort with the steady hand of Tom Marquand taking over the reins. ENKINDLE is yet to really show much of anything but there’s clearly some good esteem for him out there and now paired with Silvestre De Sousa and going handicapping off a 54 mark we might see something noteworthy.

DAPPER MAN is forgiven a lacking effort over C&D latest as he had a trip at the jump. He’s down in class and looks capable of bouncing back off 3lb lighter and with the services of Tom Marquand. HIGH SECURITY finished 2nd over C&D but was awarded the race by the stewards. The disqualified winner has gone on to score properly since, giving the form a nice shot in the arm.

TAMARAMA ran on effortlessly to score with 3 in hand at Beverley latest and is capable of further now upped just 2lb. SCOTCH MISTRESS wasn’t disgraced when 8th at Listed level when shooting for a hat trick. A return to the handicaps can see her get back to improvement.

CAPTAIN KANE is looking hard to oppose on hat trick bid under a double penalty after widening margin victories at Wolverhampton and Bath. He has won 4 of his last 5 races and looks very powerful. PUNDA MARIA is capable of putting up a stiff resistance for the power team of Willie Haggas and Tom Marquand. A good 3rd at Windsor latest, she’s fitted with cheekpieces and could go very well upped in trip again,

PERSIST is hard to sanction based on the fact she’s been beaten favourite in all 3 outings. Nonetheless this looks her time to shine as she tackles the mile for the first time for red-hot connections. SHIBORI has appeal on turf bow following back to back 2nd place finishes over the AW. This Gosden filly should relish the extra furlong here.

PEACHEY CARNEHAN got home with credit in the soft at Hamilton and has to be respected, especially if we see any wet weather.
