HIGH TECH was a decent runner on the flat and looks to be a shrewd recruit to the NH ranks for Richard Newland. He has struck the crossbar in both outings over timber and looks capable of going one better here.

LILITH has found the frame the last thrice in these ranks since having blinkers added to her loadout. A 109 mark is exploitable as she chases a deserved maiden win. MELLOW BEN is of interest having found 3rd on return from a spin over hurdles and a couple months off.

MALINAS ISLAND has proven highly progressive of late, opening the account in style at Lingfield in November before a respectable 2nd at market Rasen. He bounced right back with 3+ in hand at Wetherby back in January and looks capable of following up off 6lb higher. TINY TANTRUM wasn’t firing all cylinders when 3rd over 20f at Fakenham and is likely to recover significantly now afforded a more ideal trip for his stamina.

Race 4 – Plumpton Racecourse
MINELLA HUB wasn’t an impressive specimen in the hurdle ranks but made a superb start to life over fences when home with 9+ in hand over C&D at the end of January. The 7lb hike is fair and workable as he seems to have found his groove. ROSTELLO has found rapid improvement since season return in October. Recent fitting of the tongue-tie together with cheekpieces has seen him notch 2 wins from his last 3 appearances and he remains competitive off 7lb higher.

ROCK ON RITA fired up well to score over 20f at Ffos Las at the start of the month and looks quite capable of doubling up off 8lb higher with a bit of extra yardage to suit. THE REAL JET has improved with each run under rules and was 2nd over C&D latest so could offer plenty of resistance.

KALEB gets the vote as pick of the newcomers, a very well-bred sort under the care of Amy Murphy who has her string in fine order he should know what to do. MISTRAL LADY is also worth a mention on debut and warrants a market check.
